Trending colors of a fall wedding are to go with darker but more subtle colors such as emerald or burgundy. These shades fit in better with the natural surroundings of a fall environment while simultaneously transmitting a welcoming feeling.

FLOWERS

Flowers are a must have at any wedding and fall weddings are no exception. Fresh picked wild flowers are a great addition to any fall wedding. Examples of flowers that you can use include eucalyptus, succulents or acacia. Or, the most popular theme for fall weddings are to incorporate tree leaves. Everyone loves the beautiful leaves come fall time so why not take that opportunity for your big day? You can use leaves in so many ways…

· Choose to use dried leaves in your decor, or spray paint leaves.

· You can use real leaves and give off the aroma of nature, or artificial leaves and design them into centerpieces or at your gift and registration tables.

· Another popular thing that ties into this theme is adding leaves to your bouquet.

FASHION

When you think of a fall wedding, many couples might envision something a bit more country, or on the other extreme, gothic. The theme of your wedding will definitely influence the style of your wedding dress/tux. Another popular fall theme is based on the holiday Halloween. Everyone loves dressing up for Halloween and going to costume parties. A costume party inspired wedding is a fun idea that no one will forget. But if a costume party isn't your cup of tea you could always do a masquerade theme. The bride and groom could wear masks and the guests be given masks at the door as favors.

FOOD/DESSERT

How about a Harvest celebration? A harvest-themed wedding is pretty simple to do by using hay bales for guest seating, take home favors could be pumpkins and the food could be turkey, stuffing and other Thanksgiving cuisine. For dessert options, offer s'mores fixings for guests to roast their own marshmallows over a campfire or pumpkin pie.

No matter what fall theme or trend you take, just embrace the season and let your imagination run wild.
